"I don't want you to go. Don't want to see you back out in the cold... air..."

Haven't posted in a while. Pssh.

ONTD_AI is going crazy. Implosion may be imminent. I am not happy. Yes, we have our share of cray cray members, but in the past (or when I first joined) it all balanced itself out, and the snark enabled the sanity, it didn't hinder it. Sigh.

I joined the Air Force about 2 years ago, now. Been in training ever since, but I recently found out that that training will not pan out. Sad times. New job on the way. Saaaad Tiiiimes. But. All things happen for a reason. It's better this way; I believe it. I'm gonna miss the ppl here, though.

I dunno where they'll send me next. I really want to pre-order Adam and Kris's albums, but what address do I give to Amazon/iTunes/etc. ? Le sigh.

This post is very maudlin. I apologize. (too late to apologize?) I'm gonna go listen to some Kris Allen awesomeness, now. Make You Feel My Love always soothes me / makes me feel better.

Bai.

PS. Broken Open by Adam Lambert IS GOING TO BE AWE-INSPIRING, YOU GUYS. AWE-INSPIRING.

forgiveness

Letting people be themselves and make mistakes is important. But if they're too douchey/prideful to admit to the mistake, you feel like "why am I even bothering to forgive them, then?" Just admit your motive, and move forward. Find a better way. A way that doesn't anger Kris fans :P :)

O-M-G, It's like I NEVER post here anymore :P

It's like I NEVER post here anymore :P

New developments?

American Idol!

-I have a crush on Adam Lambert.

-Adam Lambert has a crush on Kris Allen :)

-Kris Allen has a crush on Adam Lambert :D

-Tinhat?  Present.

Adam Lambert invaded my world of fanfic. (WTF Adam Lambert?! Stop sexin up my awesome fanfics! ...Um, and by STOP I mean NEVER STOP.) I haven't watched American Idol since Mario Vasquez disappeared weirdly from the Top 12/10/whatever-it-was-back-then.

Intrigued, despite missing the entire season of voting, I marathoned the whole thing online and whooo boy.

I've never been *that* girl that gets all caught up in her favorite celebrity, and forgets that THEY'RE JUST LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE. In case anyone else needs that reality check too, THEY'RE NORMAL PEOPLE. Who are hot. And are sometimes named Adam. And who do inappropriate things on stage with microphone stands... /end fantasy.

But for the first time I found myself really fangirling over a celebrity, one Mr. Adam Lambert. And it didn't sit right with me, cuz I felt like a creeper :/ A CREEPER, I TELL YOU! I mean, I actually went to the American Idol Live! Tour in San Jose, CA. WHO DOES THAT? WHO GOES TO AMERICAN IDOL LIVE TOURS?!? I do apparently. ...I've got video. I took flippin video! ...what is my life? Oh, my life! I DON'T go to concerts. And I went to one. I went to an AMERICAN IDOL one. You don't even know. *le sigh*

ontd_ai is my saving grace in this area. without this site as an outlet, I'd probably be writing long love letters to Adam about how I see a bright light in him, and how great it'd be to BATHE in that light, maybe TAN in it. (Cheeks video reference :P , look him up on Twitter! GoCheeksGo!) Okay, so that's not real life, but dude, I contemplated standing in line after the concert just so he could SIGN A PAPER. SO HE COULD PUT HIS NAME ON A PIECE OF PAPER!

WHAT.  THE.  FLIP.

Risking my life?!? (I would have died in that line of rabid fangirls :P) I'm THAT girl. What the F, David Blaine, are you hiding somewhere, bedazzling me with Adam love? Stop bedazzling me, David Blaine! Stop invading my LIFE, Adam Lambert! ...okay jk, I love you :) Heart Transplant?! Here's my heart, I didn't need it anyway!! :) (omg jk, stop coveting my heart, Adam Lambert)

...HELP?

YouTube!
-Recently discovered Flight of the Concords on YouTube. (where have I BEEN?)

Favorites include 'The Humans are Dead' and 'Albi the Racist Dragon'.

SYTYCD!

SYTYCD Season 4!

I missed watching Season 4 of SYTYCD, but IT'S MY FAVORITE SEASON EVAR!!!! ....AFTER Season 2, of course. (moment of silence for the awesomeness that was Benji, Travis, Donyelle, Allison, Ivan, Heidi. Oh, I miss you, Season 2!)

Joshua and Katie man. What can I say? So much fangirling to be done, but it's all been said, hasn't it? Oh, the things I've missed :(

Season 4, you were great. Another TV Show that I marathoned online.

SYTYCD Season 5!

Is kinda awesome. I'm a bit leary of the odd numbered seasons. I never watched Season 1, and I had no real love for Season 3 because there was no clear favorite for me. (...For you, for me. :P)

I follow this season off and on, but my favorite girl, the one who was in Wicked, was voted off the show last week, on the 100th episode. Not. Happy.

Things just don't seem to go the way I want them to during odd-numbered seasons :/

On a positive note, Travis Wall was a choreographer for both the 99th and 100th episodes! :D :D :D

DID YOU HEAR ME? TRAVIS CAME BACK TO CHOREOGRAPH! My happiness is complete :)

I would really like to see Allison and/or Ivan come back to choreograph something. Oh, and I loved seeing Ivan dance again (In Rama Lama). *nostalgia attack*

They brought back all the past contestants, and some of them re-created emmy nominated dances, like The Bench, The Hummingbird, and Rama Lama. It was great :) But they could have left the results part out, and made the whole thing a celebration chock-full of our favorite past performers. Maybe on the 200th episode.

SYTYCD ramble

Hey you! Er, long time no update. For me, anyway. Sabra won SYTYCD. Bah. lol, looking over my previous entries, I liked her, didn't I? And I busted up laughing when I read that I didn't think Danny would win the competition. Cuz y'know what? In the end, I wanted Danny to win this flippin competition!!!

But it's okay, i'm mellow, especially cuz the finale happened weeks ago, heh. I just figure I shouldn't wait a whole year to write about my reaction, like I did last season, lol.

The delay in posting is not because I'm mad about the results. Last season, I loved both Benji and Travis, and found it hard to choose between them. They were like two sides of the same coin. Together, they were the perfect dancer.

Benji's personality drew me in, but Travis's beauty-in-motion kept me in thrall. I voted for them both so they would be the top 2 (and because I just couldn't make up my mind!) and then concentrated my votes on Travis. Benji won, but I was HAPPY gosh-darnit, cuz he was my long-time favorite throughout the season.

Maybe this post was just an excuse to talk about Benji and Travis again. *goes off into dream world of Tranji*

Anywho, you can see from my posts below what I thought of Sabra and Danny. Despite his corny jokes, Danny makes me giggle when he smiles/licks his lips/bites his lips/looks at the camera/breathes, PLUS he was the best technical dancer in the competition.

Sabra, in the end, was lacking personality for me. Maybe it was because she didn't have Dom to frolic with, but I just kinda thought of her as someone with talent, who deserved to be in top 4, even the top 2, but shouldn't have won over Danny :( Ah well. I have nothing against her. It's cool that she won. I'm just kinda lackluster about it.

So the delay in posting isn't due to my feelings about the results. It's just that, the season's over. What's left to post about? /shrug/

In other news, no SYTYCD tour tickets for me. But I'm 'meh' about it this year.

Last year, I was LIVID when I couldn't make it to any tour dates cuz of school. Oh, and also cuz of the small fact that THEY DIDN'T COME TO MY STATE! And when they came close, it was on weekdays. WEEKDAYS!!! When I have SCHOOL and CORE CLASSES I CAN'T MISS!!

...Touchy subject. I still weep. I could've seen Travis 'beauty-in-motion' Wall, live! Le sigh. And Ivan! Cute n gangly awesome hip hop dancin, Ivan! And Allison! Her dancing was so seamless. I always wanted to see Allison and Travis dance together... I should stop. *sniffle*

Wow, this is a rambly post. Ah well. I'm waiting to read a fic--it's not readily available unless you friend the writer--so I'm off to check if I can, yet. If she's friended me, yay, more reading! If not, then I'm going back to sleep. Later!

SYTYCD Top 8 Result Show -- Tonight! 8pm Central!

Bah. I'm kinda apathetic about tonights results. I'll just be happy if Danny and Sabra are safe -- which they should be!

My bottom 4:

Sara
Pasha
Dominic
Lauren

I voted for everyone BUT Pasha, Dominic, and Lauren. Sara got some votes simply because I want Lauren to go home, lol. But honestly, it doesn't matter whether she goes home this week or next week. But I do like Sara more :P *bias*

I will say that Lacey may be slippin a bit, as Sabra and Sara gain more fans. Who knows? Maybe Lacey will be cut next week as her fanbase dwindles/loses momentum.

All I know is, in 2 weeks, I want my top 4 to be: Danny, Neil, Lacey, and Sabra. Fanbase-wise, I think Lacey, right now, would win the battle between the girls :/

Dragonriders of Pern fic and Original fic 4 u

Anyone else out there into Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern? Cuz I am! And I've found awesome fic for you, if you're into slashy man love :D

Anne McCaffrey has allowed fans to write fanfiction about her works, but she's posted strict guidelines for fanfic authors to follow.

Dan Kirk, has followed those guidelines, and wrote awesome fic to boot!

Title: The Rider's Pride
Fanfic Author: Dan Kirk
Fandom: Dragonrider's of Pern
Pairing(s): Male/Male
Warning: Character death (not one of the main pairing)

Link: http://dkstories.gayauthors.org/riders/index.php

--------------------------------------------------------
This author has a GREAT Original fic series as well. If you're into looooong stories with awesome storylines, time travel, science fiction, and an awesome good time, that is :P

Title: Do Over
Series: Do Over, Do Over Redux, Doing It Right, and Lets Do It(in progress)
Fandom: Original Fic :)
Pairing(s): Male/male
Length: Epic
Warnings: Time Travel? An extremely awesome read? Slashy boy love? You've been warned!
Link: Whole series can be found at the Author's website.

Author: Dan Kirk
Author Website: http://dkstories.gayauthors.org/

Here's the author's Do Over intro:

"Have you ever dreamed of the chance to go back in time and change the decisions of the past? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you’d done one little thing differently? Davey Jones drifted through life, never achieving anything major, until he took part in a mad experiment. Like most of us, Davey Jones loved science fiction, so he should have known better than to trust a mad scientist…now he must live his own life over again, but should he, or can he, change anything?"

You can stop reading the storyline after Do Over, but if you're gonna continue after Do Over, read'em in order!

Happy Reading!

Top 12 Performance, last night. Thus: SPOILERS

SPOILERS AHEAD---OMG DUN FREAK---SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay, so I usually freak out when I miss an episode of SYTYCD. There are entries in this journal that are testament to that.

I didn't miss all of last night's episode, but... But... *sob* I MISSED DOM AND SABRA'S DANCE! *bawls*

*sob* It's! *gasp* So! *sniffle* Not! *wail* Faaaair!

But I'll find the strength... to move on. Yes, I can be brave, and move on with my critique of last night's show.

Having missed Dom and Sabra, I was forced to watch Jaimie first. But yay, Hok was there too :P

+++++++++++++++
HOK AND JAIMIE
++++++++++++++

BROADWAY! TYCE DE ORIO! OMG-->Assistant TRAVIS WALL!!! JADKLADFJIEFKF ^_^ :D!!!

Hok: I was impressed with Hok's movements, and thought he was brimming with beautiful movements. That may have just been the choreography, though.

Jaimie: Jaimie was, as usual, amazing on stage. It's off-stage that she becomes annoying. Le sigh.

I don't know what the judges were on, but I liked it! It was beautiful. Maybe it was because Tyce explained the concept beforehand, but I was caught up in the story, and I could totally see the story Tyce was trying to portray. I had no problem seeing Jaimie as the spirit reviving the old man, Hok.

And can I say, from the intro/practice session, Tyce De Orio is sex in motion :P And OMG, did you see Tyce and Travis dancing together??

Somebody go write some Tyce/Travis fic :P

(btw, yeah, i dunno how to spell tyce's full name. Enlighten me, if you will)

++++++++++++++
SARA and PASHA
++++++++++++++

JAZZ! MANDY MOORE! INFINITE JAZZ HANDS!!!

I love the clips of Benji and Heidi going wild, cheering for Sara and Pasha last week ^_^ It's so fun :D

Sara: Sara is really very beautiful. She danced well, and really captured that 80's feel.

Pasha: Pasha... is hot. He's always amazing, and always a very good partner dancer.

This was a fun number to watch. Pasha's suspenders kept threatening to fall off, though ^_^

++++++++++++++++
LAUREN and NEIL
++++++++++++++++

CONTEMPORARY!   OMGYAY, MIA MICHAELS!!!

Neil: "The worst thing about Lauren is she doesn't laugh at my awesome jokes. And I'm pretty sure all of them are like the funniest things ever. I dont know why she doesn't laugh. I think I'm pretty funny." <-- *LOVE* ^_^

Lauren: If you listen to her talk, you can tell she's beginning to pick up Neil's speech patterns. ^_^

This routine is SICK. In the AWESOMEST way. Mia Michaels needs to stop being so kick-ass all the time.

I have to say, Lauren outshined Neil throughout this number. She danced into the music, as opposed to Neil's dancing on top of it, anticipating it. This number tested the dancers' musicality, as the judges informed us, and you can tell that Neil wasn't as on top of it as Lauren was.

Neil fell behind towards the end, causing him to rush to keep up with Lauren, and causing his movements to not be fully extended.

Considering the fact that I regularly prefer Neil's dancing to Lauren's, I was a bit disappointed in his falling behind. I still want Lauren to go home tonight though :P

Sidenote: Nigel cracked me up with his comment on their routine: "I didn't fully understand it, really... I hope you find your welding equipment soon!" LOL!

++++++++++++++++
ANYA and DANNY
++++++++++++++++

FOXTROT!!   JEAN MARC *MUMBLE-SOMETHING*-RO!!!

Danny: OMG YOU BEATIFUL MAN!! Where have you been hiding?!?

LOL at his awful jokes.

"What I really like about Anya is her costumes that she uses for fighting for her life. You know with cheetahs, and you know, the 70's couch... *snicker* ...And the lampshade! When she was being really shady."

Also: "She keeps it strong like bull." ...what?! ^_^

Anya: Too bad about her foot. I respect her dancing through the pain, for her solo last week.

OMG DANNY, wtf with the cheesy lines? "Foxtrot... good thing she's a fox!"

Performance: OMG THIS IS SO MY FAVORITE OF THE NIGHT! And it's totally because of Danny. Where in the world did this come from? Did you see that leap across the stage, that he started out with? And his movements! The SMILE! His carriage!! The way he carried himself... *fans self*

For the first time, I saw what Mary was saying about him being such a great dancer, leaping higher than anyone has ever lept before (lol). Wow. Im-pressed, thank you.

I wonder if it was because his step-brother, Travis, was around this week, that Danny improved so much?

...

Travis/Danny fic!!!  ^_^  :P

I realize I haven't said much about Anya. She was being careful of her foot, so she kind of fell out of the spotlight here, with them cutting back on the choreography and jumps for her. /shrug I look forward to seeing her dance with Pasha in the top 10 :D But nothing impressive to comment on, right now.

++++++++++++++++++
LACEY and KAMERON
++++++++++++++++++

HIP HOP! HOP to the HIPPY! HIPPY-- *smothers Lacey to make it stop*
DAN KARRATY!

How cute was the sweaty kameron tackle? Heh :)

This is like a remix on Dan Karraty's number from last year, danced by Natalie and Musa. What the deal, Dan?

Lacey: As always, she danced well. Not outstanding, but it was passable. Some movements were rushed.

Kameron: Definately did not rock his solo, like he could have. Yeah, not a hip-hop dancer. But still.

Wade Robson(sp?) makes his comment about dancing on top of the music, rather that in the pocket, here. I think he's right, and that it applied to Neil, earlier, as well.

And thank GOODNESS somebody finally commented on the one-dimensional performance level of Lacey! I mean she's good. Dang good. But, hopefully, she can benefit from Wade's critique. He always gives good, constructive critiques that the contestants can use and benefit from.

Darn Cat for asking if Nigel thought Lacey and Kameron were in trouble. Now, because Nigel said they were, fans probably voted in rebellion, making them NOT in trouble. DANGIT. Kameron needs to go hoooome :(

---------------------------
Well, that's all of'em.
---------------------------
Except Dom and Sabra. Whose performance I missed. *sniffle-sob-wail-hiccup*

I will say that, from the end recaps, Sabra is TEH AWESOME. How is she so awesome after only 4 years of dancing? Sheesh, woman!

And--DANGIT--with every new shot of Danny, my legs quiver. WHERE has THAT been hiding?? You handsome man, you! Stop smiling at me :P *blush*

---------
LOL at Dominic and Lacey's shenanigans during the end credits. LOL! I keep rewinding just to see it again :P Funny stuff ^_^

---------------------------
WHO MUST GO:
---------------------------
Lauren and Kameron, dangit. THERE CAN BE NO OTHERS!!!!

LAUREN: ...is not improving, at all. She's doing the dances, yes, but she's not improving *herself*. She gushes and squinty-smiles, and laughs loud--it's all a contrived act. No more so that all the dancers have to put on an act for us at home, and portray a persona that we can grasp. But hers is so easy to see through AND it's annoying and fake as well. That fakeness and her stagnation in her progress makes me say SHE MUST GO!

KAMERON: ...is riding Lacey's coattails. If they land in the bottom 3 (plzplzplz) I fully expect Lacey to dance her hide off to stay in the competition. I don't think Kameron can save himself. What is there to save? I haven't seen it. Well, if he's in the bottom 3, he'll either make all of us see it, or he'll go home.

---------------------------
THE OTHER GIRLS:
---------------------------

SARA: She is in serious danger if she's in the bottom 3. While she has shown remarkable talent in picking up various styles of dance, it's obvious that she's not among the judges favorites. If she's in the bottom 3, the judges may let her leave in favor of the other girls with more potential. Really it comes down to personality, for me, if choosing between Sara and Anya. While I like them both, and have nothing against them (which is more than I can say for lacey), I'd prefer that Sara stays. /shrug

ANYA: Her personality just seems to be lacking lately, for me. I think it's a result of the competition. Something about it is getting to her, affecting her performance. Maybe it's the separation from her long-time dance partner, Pasha, that's affecting her confidence. I dunno. But where I was all for her in the beginning, it's sort of fizzled down to a moderate and hopeful cheering for her. She does have Mary Murphy behind her though, so if she does end up in the bottom 3, she'll have a fierce Mary fighting for her survival.

SABRA: Beautiful dancer. I don't want to contemplate her going home, because she improves every week, and continually rises in my estimation of her abilities. I hope the judges can see the potential in her, like I do.

JAIMIE: I want her to go cuz she's annoying, but she's a great dancer, dangit. She's not seamless like Alisson was last year, but she's is really good. Top that off with her status as "judges' favorite", and there's no way she's leaving tonight. They won't let her go.

LACEY: She's a great dancer AND performer. Even if she does end up in the bottom 3 tonight (plz plz plz) she doesn't deserve to go home, and the judges won't let her.

---------------------------
THE OTHER GUYS:
---------------------------

HOK: There's no question that he's a fan favorite. It's pretty much what's holding him afloat in this competition. He's a great guy. A compassionate guy. He genuinely cares for his fellow contestants. He's AMAZING when dancing his own moves. But he's slowly sinking with each new routine. I agree with Wade that it seems he's getting spooked by the stress of the Top 10 coming up. But beyond that, it's his selflessness that's more to his detriment, here.

Hok will set himself back, just to let his friends succeed. He's said before that he couldn't believe so-and-so didn't get picked over him at various points in the competition. He'll hold himself back people, and I believe he's already doing it. He doesn't believe he deserves to be in the Top 10. He believes the other dancers are much better than him, and as long as he believes that, he will not win this competition.

I've seen some beautiful moves from Hok throughout his learning experience in this competition. Beautiful, beautiful moves. He can learn so much, if he would only believe that he belongs where he is!! Dangit. You're doing great, Hok. Pull it together.

NEIL: You're slippin up, boy. I love your sense of humor! I want you to bring your twin brother up on stage with you and dance for my wicked pleasure. But I've mostly seen flips and tricks. Only recently have you had to dance your way in this competition. You didn't do so hot yesterday. /shrug I like Neil as much as or better then Hok. But I don't like it when contestants use tricks/shticks(sp?) to get themselves through :P So never do it again!! *waggles finger like a stern mother-figure*

DOMINIC: I like you. The end. No wait, I've got more. I despised you the first week. Your dance to save yourself was a joke to me. Taking off your shirt and holding your nipples, was not funny to me in the least. I hated that you stayed, with that display, while Ricky danced beautifully and was voted off. But dangit, you're an alright guy, you're funny, and you're learning. I like that. Keep it up. Plus, that Shane Sparks routine was HHHOOOOTTTT! Keep that tongue in your mouth, or we'll see what gets done with it! PLZ DONT GO HOME TONIGHT!

DANNY: Will. Not. Go. Home. Tonight. I FORBID IT! Did you SEE him last night?? *GUH* *HEARTS* *LOVE* Plus, he kept SMILING. That's so not FAIR! I saw his brilliance last night and refuse to entertain the notion that he's goin home. Now, he may be in teh bottom 3, dont get me wrong. But he was amazing last night. The judge won't let him go.

PASHA: My favorite guy, right now :D He's so hot *fans self* He's like a hot Benji, lol. I mean, *I* personally think Benji is hot, but it's not something immediately apparent about him. With Benji, it's more a, his personality makes him hot, type of deal. Pasha though... heh, he takes control when he dances, like Benji, with total MALENESS like Benji--he PARTNER DANCES like Benji, AND... he's just hot, lol. He must stay. There can be no other option.

And, I'm spent. Sorry this entry is so long.

But lucky you, this is the end :P

SPOILER END

SPOILERS for SYTYCD if you haven't been watching lately

SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT

I realize I haven't posted in this journal in a while. My last entry was short and kinda harsh. Needless to say, Dominic/D-trix and Sabra were quite impressive that night, and have continued to impress me every wednesday night since.

Last week in particular, they blew me away. Awesome! It's right up there with Benji and Donyelle's '2 Much Booty' dance, as one of my favorite Shane Sparks routines. Awe! Some!

Also, how AWESOME was it that Benji and Heidi choreographed the dance for Pasha and Sara? TOTALLY Awesome! As I watched them dance, I was struck by their talent, so much so that it could have been Benji and Heidi out there. So I want Pasha AND Sara to stay.

Dominic and Sabra. They're so the Benjelle of this season. What do we call them? Dombra?

The thing is, people get comfortable around this time with their favorites, and usually think they dont have to vote as much. That's why there will be quite a lot of people surprised when their favorite finally ends up in the bottom 3 one of these Thursdays. You can never give up. That's how Daughtry didn't make the top 3 when he really should have won American Idol. To borrow a phrase from a Harry Potter, "Constant Vigilance!"

Bah.  Enough of the rambling.

There are 6 boys left!
Danny
Kameron
Dominic
Pasha
Hok
Neil

Danny is too good to have to leave yet.

Kameron is mentally locked in people's minds with Lacey, so he probably won't be voted off. Dangit.

Dominic is doing well lately, and has become a favorite of mine. I'll vote like crazy so he won't go, fingers crossed.

Pasha is sexy man beast. :D Plus he's a beautiful dancer. I might just want him to win the whole thing :P A 'come from behind' victory, if you will.

Hok is an amazing dancer when he's doing his own thing. But on the tour he'll be required to dance other genres all the time. His popularity has gotten him this far. Would he be comfortable on the tour though? /shrug I dunno. I want him there though :P

Neil. He twists! He turns! But is it enough to win America's heart?

Who I want to leave:
I really want Kameron to go. He impresses me least of all, and is basically riding Lacey's coattails. If not him, then Neil. If not Neil, then Hok. If not Hok, then Danny. --Whoa, "Where'd that come from", you might ask. Well Danny is a lot like the Ryan of last season in that he dances impeccably, but doesn't reach out to the audience. /shrug Probably not his fault.

There may be some other issues there. He may even feel uncomfortable, and maybe resentful that people could judge him just because he doesn't make them laugh, or have a tearjerker story to tell.

I can relate in the sense that I've been in situations, thinking "Who the hell are you to think you know anything about me or my life, or what I can relate to? You pass judgment on me without knowing me, then expect me to tell you the personal details of my life? To just turn over what I safeguard, just like that? Sorry. You haven't earned that privilege."

Not to get all personal about it, but I'm thinking that's where Danny's at. He's still incredulous, and thrown by the fact that this talent that he's put so much into, isn't all that matters in this competition. He's expected to reveal parts of himself, and maybe for him that's a hard thing to do, especially to people who aren't even his friends.

Sorry, I'm rambling. I like Danny. The boy can dance. But I don't expect him to win this competition.

There are 6 girls left!
Lacey
Sabra
Sara
Anya
Jaimie
Lauren

Who I want to leave:
Jaimie or Lauren, first. Lauren, because she's shown the least growth, and is getting her votes based on her stylishness and being bubbly all the dang time. Jaimie, I must admit, annoys me, lol. "Oh Hooook!" *giggle* Ugh.

So Lauren. If not Lauren, Jaimie. If not Jaimie, Anya. And now, I'm too lazy to write more.

The End.

SPOILER END SPOILER END SPOILER END

Wooot :D

Those who need to step-it up this week:

Dominic: He better impress the heck out of me tonight. Right now, he's my new Lacey. Which means, if he doesn't impress me or match up to the hype, I ain't voting a lick for him.

Sabra: Where's your personality? Show it to me! The I've-only-been-dancing-for-4-years-and-look-how-good-I-am love will only get you so far.

SYTYCD Top 20 Results Show

Yeah. The guy who went home? Didn't deserve it. No matter what you think of him personally, you HAVE to agree with that, right?

Compare what he did to what D-trix did. And SERIOUSLY? You picked D-trix to stay, over him?

It seems the judges and contestants are enamoured of D-trix, and think he's the next Benji, or maybe better, cuz THEY all like him. Well, what about us? He hasn't done enough to inspire that kind of loyalty in the home audience yet. And his dance to save his life? It was pitiful, especially when you compare it to the other two.

Cedric took the concept of 'dance for your life' to heart. He went out there and danced his heart out. He even left it on his sleeve, when he was answering Cat's question. It was touching.

Ricky was beautiful, with long extensions and graceful movement. He really impressed me with his dancing skill.

D-trix spun around in circles and took his shirt off. Then covered up his nipples like it was cute.

If it was up to me, D-trix would be out of here. As for the guy that left... you were wronged, dude.

SYTYCD - Season 3 - Top 20 show!

The SYTYCD Season 3 Contestants shouldn't be judged too harshly this first episode. They'll be judged more harshly as the competition goes on, but right now they will be cut some slack by judges and audience alike.

THE PAIRS:

++++++++++++++
Hok and Jaimie
++++++++++++++

Hok: I like Hok in general, but I especially like his generosity of spirit. He shows genuine caring toward his fellow contestants, and that's awesome. Also, he wins at hip hop.

Jaimie: Not great with the hip hop, but not terrible either. She still needs to find a way to endear herself to us.

Together, they were alright. As the first act dancing a Shane Sparks routine, it was inevitable that they would be compared to Benji and Donyelle. They paled in comparison, then again, Benjelle is a hard act to beat. If I were to throw a vote their way, it would be for Hok and the awesomeness that is his dancing.

++++++++++++++
Danny and Anya
++++++++++++++

Danny: He made sure to mention all his credentials,heh. Props to Cute!Danny: During the judges' critiques, he kissed Anya's hand and later, her cheek. He even made bunny ears behind her head (while letting us know to dial 02). I was prepared to boo his stuck-up-ness, but he played it smart. Very wise, m'boy. Very wise.

Anya: I like her spicy personality. Her strengh in the Jive is very obvious, and she definately outshined Danny style-wise.

Together, they were better than alright, but that's it. Not outstanding, and not necessarily very memorable. It was 'good enough'. If I were to throw a vote their way, it would be for Danny's cuteness.

+++++++++++++++++
Lacey and Kameron
+++++++++++++++++

Lacey: Ballroom dancer and... professional krumper?! What?! Krumping aside, when Lacey introduced herself, she made sure to mention her own accomplishments, before mentioning her brother, Benji. So props to her for that.

As to the dancing, Lacey was amazing. It makes one wonder, though, how much was Lacey, and how much was simply Mia Michaels' choreography? Last year, cousin Heidi brought it home while doing a Mia Michaels routine with Travis. It was that dance that made me like Heidi again; it seems Mia did it again this year, in making me give Lacey a chance.

I was so prepared to dislike Lacey for mooching off her brother's success. But Lacey and Kameron dancing Mia Michaels? ...Awesome.

Kameron - I like star boy, he's cute. Kameron, a prop? Well, yeah. But a very awesome prop. From his body language, he was a little pissed that he got less than glowing reviews. "Watch out na, boy." Don't hate on Lacey cuz she's good. :P And don't replace Danny as the stuck-up one.

Together, Lacey and Kameron = B-E-A-U-TI-FUL. Also, Mia Michael's stole my socks. Or rocked them off. Mia, stop being awesome all the time, gosh!

+++++++++++++++++
Dominic and Sabra
+++++++++++++++++

Dominic: I think it's awesome that he's earnest to learn. He was awkward throughout the dance, though.

Sabra: Meh. Where's her personality? I understand the quiet thing -- I'm a quiet person, myself. But it works to her detriment in a competition like this. She's surrounded by amazing dancers. She needs to find a way (easier said than done, I know) to show her personality to us. Right now, she's expendable to me.

Together, doing Doriana's disco...meh. No chemistry there, to me. I would vote for Dominic, alone.

++++++++++++++++
Ricky and Ashlee
++++++++++++++++

Ricky: Ricky danced amazingly. He surprised me in the beginning with his manliness. Yeah yeah, he's usually kinda weird. But RAWR, at his dancing :D

Ashlee: She seems nice, and genuine. She has a cutesy way about her.

Together, dancing an Alex de Silva dance = "WOW!Chemistry!" She is a bit taller than him, *ahem*, which doesn't work for this kind of dance as far as the dynamic goes. The dance did get kind of boring as it went on, but at times, it was good stuff :)

Sidenote: Slightly-Off-Ricky and Ashlee-the-Cute are both favorites of Mia Michaels :D

++++++++++++++
Sara and Jesus
++++++++++++++

Sara: Wow, a B-girl and does Jazz and Tap among other styles? Awesome! I like her, a lot. She tore it up in this dance, and was obviously better than Jesus. She's definately someone to look out for! Also, she gave props to Wade, who was in the audience. *Endearment* :D

Jesus: He was good. Seemed to be a step behind, at times. He has a good story behind him, though.

Together, dancing a Wade Robison routine, was awesome. But it was mainly awesome because of Wade and Sara, in my opinion. AWESOME how they stayed in character. Very reminiscent of Benji and Donyelle. Good job! I'll be looking out for them :D

+++++++++++++++
Jessi and Pasha
+++++++++++++++

Jessi: Baby oil-girl. Hip hop girl. /shrug.

Pasha: Anya's partner of 9 years. He seemed condescending during his introduction. "Easy to remember: Pasha from Russia." Cuz 2-syllable 'Pa-sha' is really hard for me to keep in my head. He probably didn't mean to be condescending, though. Seems to have a good sense of humor.

Together, dancing the waltz, they were AMAZING!!! This was apparent 5 minutes in. Also, I loved their entrance into the practice room, heh. Very benjelle-esque. Mary, who is the expert in this field, had nothing but glowing reviews for them both. I really want to see them again, next week. They're fun together.

++++++++++++++++
Faina and Cedric
++++++++++++++++

Faina: Stanislav's sister... is so bad at hip hop. Not making fun of her, just stating truth. She's usually a step behind Cedric.

Cedric: Nigel says he can't do anything but hip-hop. CEDRIC SHOWED OUT DAWG. the whole dance. lol.

Together, it was kinda bad. They were frequently out-of-sync, and could have been dancing two different versions of the dance. If they are one of the bottom three couples (which I think is likely), I think Cedric could save himself. Faina is not too impressive to me right now. (that's combining previous performances and this performance.)

+++++++++++++++
Lauren and Neil
+++++++++++++++

Lauren: I've been waiting for her to dance all night! (she helped choreographer, Tyce De Orio (sp?) last year)

Neil: Wow, he's like a straight Travis to me, lol. :D Except, when Travis moved it was a definate and immediate sense of beauty-in-motion. Neil doesn't have that, but he still catches my eye.

Together, the dancing wasn't so great. The footwork was amazing on the parts they danced together, but the tricks were bad. Neil wasn't able to be the dominating/commanding male, which this Alex De Silva piece required of him.

Despite this, I LOVE LAUREN AND NEIL! They most certainly were not the best tonight, and probably should be in the bottom 3. But I love them both personality-wise, and I will not allow it! Yeah...I voted for them. A lot :D

++++++++++++++++
Shauna and Jimmy
++++++++++++++++

Shauna: (mad crazy fan base w/ videos on youtube) She was my favorite, of the two. Having watched some videos of her beforehand, I was expecting her to be not as good as the hype online. She impressed me.

Jimmy: (also has a video online) Maybe it was just the terrible costume choice, but he seemed really gangly to me, and it just didn't work. This dance aside, I don't think he's going to be one of my favorites.

Together, dancing a Tyce De Orio broadway routine, they were "fun and energetic". I liked it a lot :D I am a bit biased though-- as soon as the music started I was like "OMG--THEY'RE DANCIN TO THE WIZ's 'EASE ON DOWN THE ROAD' OMG" and immediately had to get up and sing/dance with them. :D

Sidenote: Wow, Nigel was really down on Shauna, who i loved in the dance, over a trivial thing like her dress.

Plus side to nigel's put-down: We got to see Travis and Ivan booing Nigel, in the audience :D. Also the moppy-haired Ben from last season makes faces in the background.

Another Side note: Lacey's parents AND BENJI were in the crowd. Practically the whole cast from last season was there, including Hok's crew, which is AWESOME)

++++++++
My Top Five
++++++++:

Lauren and Neil - a-MA-zing footwok!--01
(i love them!  lol)
(neil could be more manly growly in control, y'know?)

Lacey and Kameron - B-E-A-U-TI-FUL -03
(i have a crush on star boy, and lacey was AMAZING)
(kameron-prop? a bit. but a very studly prop)

Jessi and Pasha - BE-A-U-TI-FUL!!! --07
(perfect)

Shauna and Jimmy - fun and energetic. good job --10
(shauna was my fav of the two)

Sara and Jesus - great, stayed in character til end --06
(sara is amazing)

++++++++++
In Between
++++++++++

Ricky and Ashlee - I liked it. --05
(ricky is awesome with personality, ashley is cute)
(ricky danced amazingly, he suprised me at the beginning with his manliness. as it went on, the dance got kinda boring.)

Danny and Anya - better than alright --02
(danny was cute)

Jaimie and Hok - alright --01
(vote for hok)

+++++++++++++++++
Bottom 3 Material
+++++++++++++++++:
Dominic and Sabra - meh. mediocre alright. --04
(vote for dominic - he's awesome and earnest to learn)

Faina and Cedric - out of sync with each other --08
(cedric showed out. faina couldn't keep up)

RANT--I missed an episode of SYTYCD...thus: RANT. I'm grouchy. :(

I missed last Wednesday's episode of So You Think You Can Dance. I was upset about it last week. I'm hopeful that that one episode won't really mean much (tho I was really perturbed to discover I missed the revelation that Travis's adopted brother was in the competition.)

If I remember correctly, I didn't really get to know last year's contestants until the top 20 competition started. But even then, I had a favorite (Donyelle) and a person to look out for (Benji). It annoys me that I've missed potential early favorites this year.

Then again, I didn't come to love Benji until the first episode of Top 20, when he and Donyelle danced to "2 Much Booty".

So, in short, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's episode. I dunno if I'll find another Benji, but there can only be one anyway.

Right now, I'm looking out for Stanislav's sister, Hok, Lauren (she helped a choreographer teach last season), and the girl who looks like Allison (her name begins with an A as well).

I'm a bit shaky on Benji's sister and Travis's brother. The brother, Danny, seems stuck up, while the sister, Lacey, seems shady.

...sigh, let me stop. I realize I'm clearly demonstrating bias based on a transient feeling, and that said feeling may actually be left-over agitation from missing Wednesday's episode. Who knows? Maybe if I had caught the episode, I would love Danny/Lacey right now.

...sigh. I'm done. New episode of SYTYCD, tomorrow. Don't let the fact that it's on FOX fool you. It's actually better than NBC's America's Got Talent. Don't get me started on that stupid show. And yeah. Left-over agitation.

SPOILERS WITHIN: Heroes. You prolly already know 'bout SYTYCD.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE:

Heh. Just noticing, I don't post much in this journal until summer rolls around. So You Think You Can Dance gets me excited enough to want to comment here :) I did taper off at the end of last summer though, so here's some SYTYCD recaps you probably already know about:

SYTYCD Final Four: Heidi, Donyelle, Travis, Benji
SYTYCD Final Two: Travis, Benji
Who I voted for in the finale: Both Travis and Benji, lol.

Travis is beauty in motion, so in the end I gave him one more vote than Benji. But Benji is simply and irrevocably my all-around favorite. I love him :) America loved him as well, so despite my traitorous extra vote for Travis, Benji won the competition to become America's favorite dancer. :) Booyah.

As Nigel said, if you combined Travis and Benji together I guess you'd have the perfect dancer. Travis excels at technique (Beauty in motion, people!) but Benji has all the performance you could ask for and more. I'm so impressed that he used his winnings to further train himself, and that he's put money away to make his dreams of dancing for the rest of his life, a reality. I love Benji! It's so awesome that he placed his trust in God, let Him decide the rest of Benji's life, Choose Your Own Adventure-style, and that God let him persue dance. Flippin' awesome.

Check out www.fox.com/dance for more info and videos on the upcoming season of So You Think You Can Dance!

And now: The One! The Only! The Awesome!

HEROES:  The best show evarr.

Did you KNOW that Heroes was the best show ever made? Cuz yeah, it is.

Sylar is Teh Evil of Season one. (Well, one of the evils--let's not forget Linderman!) And yeah, Sylar kills other people with special abilities, possibly eating their brains to gain said abilities. And chyeah, I was ready to jump through the TV screen to prevent him from killing mini-Rocky--er, I mean, Peter Petrelli. But the Sylar character has redeeming qualities as well. Such as, being played by the hottest man alive.

Zachary Quinto = The Hotness.

And though 5-years-in-the-future-Peter-Petrelli was hotness on wheels, Zachary Quinto's hotness transcends all roles...and geekiness. Thus, the superhot-serial-killing-machine-and-former-nerd that is Sylar. And I must say, once and for all, for all the Sylar fans out there: HE CAN'T BE DEAD!!!! >_< !!! Well, really, he's not dead.

We all saw the blood trail leading into the sewer. And though, in reality, he would die of grotesque diseases if not the sword wound through the stomach, this is a tv show. And most importantly: He's Sylar. Like a cockroach, he just doesn't die. Most tellingly, Zachary Quinto's bid has been picked up for next season of Heroes. That's right! Good-bye guest-star, hello full-time cast member! Aw yeah!

Anyway, two long-ish posts and I'm spent. Time to patrol for more fic. Holla!

SYTYCD Returns!  Woot!

So You Think You Can Dance is back!!! ^_^ SO! EXCITED!

Vegas week starts this upcoming Wednesday at 8:00/7:00pm central, and I'm excited to scout out early favorites. Next generation dancers include Benji's sister and Stanislav's sister.

Judging from her audition, it looks like Stanislov's sister is one to look out for. Here's hoping she'll do as well in other styles of dance as she did in her own genre. You know the judges will put her to the test during Vegas week.

I just watched an interview with Season 2 winner, Benji, on www.fox.com/dance. Benji mentioned that his sister, Lacey, helped Benji get over his depression when his girlfriend left him for someone else while he was away on a 2 year mission trip. Lacey helped get Benji back on his feet and helped him train himself up into top condition. And for that alone, I love her ^_^

Judging from comments Benji and Mary Murphy made in their respective interviews, Vegas week is no joke. You may walk on stage thinking you're going to dance one style, and they'll start playing music in a completely different genre. It's up to you to show your versatility and shine with it, despite the curve balls they throw.

Choreographer/Judge Mary Murphy said she's not allowed to talk about what they do to test the contestants during Vegas week, but she did divulge that the judges are assessing the contestants' mental strength as well as their dancing strength. Apparently the competition is tougher than the cameras show, and the judges need to know the Top 20 can handle it. Here's hoping we get an amazing top 20 out of the process, and wishing the contestants the best! Work it out!

SYTYCD Results - SPOILERS!!!

So, I didn't catch all of the results show. But the part I did catch, made me so mad... and giddy.

Tell me why Travis was in the bottom 2 guys ?!?? That's ridiculous. And Allison. Why did Allison get less votes than Natalie?!? I can understand Heidi, as she was great w/ Benji, and I personally think that anyone paired w/ Benji gets a voting boost. But still. Man.

I'm still mad that Travis was in the bottom 2 guys. I thought that I could cut back this week, and only vote for half an hour, but I guess that can't happen any more. Gotta keep callin in order to keep Benji, Travis, and Donyelle safe.

And for the sweet moment of the episode, did you see Allison and Travis dancing together? Not only for her farewell performance, but as the credits rolled as well! Oh, it was so awesome! And he cried for her! Wiped away tears while she danced all over him, hehe. Ahhhhh, and now i'm so sad that they're being seperated this way. Maybe she'll come to the remaining shows to cheer Travis on. ^_^ *siiigh* I'm so sorry, Travis, that I didn't vote enough to keep your true love in the competition :P Heh.

I'm gonna vote like crazy this week.

Dance Results

Woot! My men, Travis and Benji, are safe! And double WOOT for the Travis/Benji friendship! (I guess the bumping chests/yelling thing passes as signs of friendship, heh.)

I'm satisfied with the results, tonight. It will be tougher to vote next week, but there are still 2 contestants left that are disposable-ish, IMO. I'm excited to see how the dice fall next week ^_^

My love for Donyelle seems to have tarnished a bit with her hangin on Dmitry last night.... dang, I'm fickle. :/ I love the girl! I'm just... noticing... that Benji seems to support her more than she does him. But I don't know anything about what's really going down, so pshaw to me. Whatever the case, she's still my favorite girl. ^_^

Best episode EVER!!!

Oh, how I love me some So You Think You Can Dance!!!!!!

Benji!  Travis!  Donyelle!  Allison!

They're who I voted for, and who I would be terribly upset to see leave us tomorrow.

+++++++
TRAVIS
+++++++
TRAVIS = BEAUTY IN MOTION. He dances so beautifully! Whenever he performs, I fall in love with his dancing all over again. I see him move and I wanna shout "I love you, Travis!!" It spontaneously comes out of my mouth, as my family can attest to, let me assure you. Man! He was GREAT on that contemporary piece choreographed by Mia Michaels. SO good. I've never been so glad for DVR, because I rewound and rewatched that dance many times! Ah, beauty. I love you, Travis!!

++++++
BENJI
++++++
I honestly think Benji should win the competition. Whatever style he attempts, he does well. Normally I would say that with every style he hits a homerun -- and that usually is the case -- but he didn't do so hot with the hip hop tonight. But he did well, gosh darnit, and I voted for him! Cuz I love me some Benji -- booty poppin and all!

I wasn't sure of him at first. He was simply someone I kept my eye on--until we hit the top 20, and he danced hip hop with Donyelle. As Mary would say, "WOOOO!" Who knew the boy had it in him?!! Daaang, Benji! With every week he just shows out, and I love him more and more. He's got my vote. Always.

+++++++++
DONYELLE
+++++++++
Is there anything this girl can't do?!! I love Donyelle! She had been my favorite dancer of all since I watched her first audition for the show, and I never saw anyone come up to her degree of talent--until she was paired with Benji. ...Whom I think is a better overall dancer than she is.

I must admit that I was a bit put out that she adjusted so very happily and quickly to being paired with Dmitry tonight. What happened to the Benji-love, Dony?!

Donyelle is still my girl, tho, and she was workin it tonight! The judges had not one negative comment toward her specifically, thank you, and she is a serious contender, imo, for the 1st place spot. But I don't know... Travis has this thing where he'll sneak up higher in my estimation (HE'S SO BEAUTIFUL >_< !!!) but you can guarantee that these three will get my vote, every week!!

++++++++
ALLISON
++++++++
Allison is a wonderful dancer. She flows through the movements of the choreography. With her, everything fits together and it's just RIGHT. She deserves a chance at that Vegas show, and I'd be okay with her winn... nope, sorry, Travis or Benji needs to win. And Donyelle. (I think Donyelle is coming third simply because I have fan girl love for the boys ^_^) But still. Allison is in my top 4.

And there you have it. That's who I voted for, and that's who I want to still be in it, no matter what.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
======
Natalie
======
B-e-a-u-tiful solo! Thank you for making me hate you less. You showed me that you actually have something besides sex appeal keeping you in this competition, and as a result I threw a few votes your way. Good job! You brought it, honey.

=====
Heidi
=====
Too controlling for me. "Wait, a minute, I'm the cape!" and last week, she barely helped Ryan, who was struggling with the choreography. But she's a hard worker, dagnubbit, and I like that. She was an early favorite of mine, but it's just not there for me right now. She's tied with Natalie in my estimation of the girls. I just dont' know who I like more right now.

THE REST:
---------
Ivan
---------
You da man, man! Doin' dat hip hop like it was nutin', boooyy! I didn't vote for you, tho. :( I'm sad, now, that I didn't, because you're my third favorite guy. But I think that you, Dmitry, and Ryan are disposable right now. It has nothing to do with your personality, Ivan, cuz that's mainly why I love you. And you're making tremendous progress learning new styles of dance. Like I said, you're my third in line, but too many votes your way could see your cute baby face outstripping Travis or Benji. And on a night like this with so many new things being thrown at the audience, the voting is bound to be unstable, so I gotta get them votes in where they count. But I love you, man!

-----------
Dmitry
-----------
Dude. I was so mad at you for opening your shirt like that at the end of your solo. Cuz your solo wasn't alright. It didn't look like you put much thought behind it, and when you opened your shirt like that at the end, the attention was taken off your dancing, and straight to your amazing, rock-hard, gotta-touch-it abs... wait, lemme regather my thoughts. ...<_<...>_>...<_<... You're fiiine, baby. But you gotta go.

-----------
Martha
-----------
Girl, you can dance! But something is missing. What happened, I don't know. But your star simply is not shining! I've had my eye on you to see what you can do, and your intro "Heeere's Martha" dance snippets are on point. But everything else just falls short of what I'm seeing elsewhere with the other dancers. Step it up, baby. The judges say that you've got it in you. Unfortunately, America won't get to see it, cuz I think you're going home this week.

---------
Ryan
---------
I. Don't. Like. You.

Okay, so you were diappointed that Natalie wasn't chosen as your partner the first week. It's cool, cuz I get that. But it was so obvious that you weren't happy to be partnered with Heidi, that it left a bad taste in my mouth. Your apology the next week, saying you didn't mean it that way, left me doubtful of your sincerity, so I watched you dance with her again. And you were so disconnected from your partner, Heidi, that I wondered if you were telling the truth. Now I know that it's simply a part of your dancing--the essential "something" that the judges remark you're missing: you're detached. From your partner, and from us, your audience.

But you dance! So! Well! ...I still don't like you. But I can't fault your dancing, at all. Unfortunately for you, personality goes hand-in-hand with talent and skill in a voting competition like this, and I think it's your time to go home this week.

My bottom 4 are Martha, Ivan, Dmitry, and Ryan. Who will go home? I guess we'll find out tomorrow!

I just hope the people voted correctly. And by correctly, I mean my way :P

There's so much more for me to comment on!! (Like how I love me some Brian! He can choreograph me anyday!) But I think this entry is long enough ^_^

Seacrest, out.

I've got the WYWM blues, woah wooooah...

I'm so sad right now... :'(

So, you might have guessed by now that I love to read. All this easy access fic that's available online has got me in a frenzy! But sometimes you're in a mood for quality writing, you know? And not all fic online is quality. Sometimes it takes a while to find the good stuff.

So, when I found knkfics, I was So! Excited! I was turned on to them by page_r's memories, which featured knkfics's WYWM prequels b/w Bren and Lucian. OMG, I love Bren and Lu! Love the relationship b/w them! But in order to read knkfics's original stories, of which WYWM is, they require you to be Friended. (The stories are under Friends-Only lock.)

So I rushed to add them to my Friends. Yesterday, they added me in return ^_^!!! So awesome :o)

So of course, I went straight to their memories to look for WYWM, right? But I didn't see it there. I went through and clicked each link. But I didn't see it there. So now I'm wondering, "Did I miss something? Just what does WYWM stand for anyway? And is it actually at their webpage?"

...It's not at their webpage.

So I did what any self-respecting internet-goer would do. I googled them. ^_^

Found out that WYWM stands for When You Were Mine. But here's the sad part -- I CAN'T READ IT!!! >_< *sob*

I found out about this sad bit of news when I re-read their last public entry, on june 21st. Under that entry, they gave a list of things they were still working on, and the status of each. I didn't look there for WYWM earlier because 1) I didn't know what WYWM stood for, and 2) I assumed it was a finished work.

But right there under Original Fiction was the status: unavailable, until they muster up the nerve to send it to a publisher. *bawls*

So not only can I not read online, but I can't even read it in a freakin' bookstore. I'm! So! Sad! *wails*

Really, knkfics -- I'll send it to publishers for you!!! *nods eagerly* Just like Lucian did for Bren, I'll do that for you. That's just the kind of gal I am *wink* Not selfish at all, purely innocent motives, really!

If that won't work for them, I wonder if they'll just let me pay them the book price so I can read it already. LOL.

*sigh* All joking aside... I'm sad. Really sad.

...

So sad. *tear*

Update - Anastasia in da house!

Living with the other parent is an adventure. Halfway across the country, and I'm doin just fine! Dad's got DVR -- SWEEET -- so I can record shows, and rewind/pause while they're playing. Sweet stuff!

He says he doesn't care if I get a job this summer, he just wants me to get my driver's license. Well, I'm not complaining! It's kind of embarrassing to be 21 w/out a license, but I don't even have a car, so why bother? Except, now, my mom may give me her car while she scopes out a new one, so I might as well go take the dang test. Eventually. ...Did I mention driving makes me nervous? >_<

Anywho, I haven't been on this journal since before I left, but now I'm back -- don't everybody celebrate at once!! Hehe, no one really reads or knows about this journal (except two random people who have friended me and whose journals I can't read cuz they're in a different language) But never-you-mind, my pretend audience, for I know you truly care! Your love is deep and wide, and so very very soothing to my soul in a whole not-really-real sort of way.

...

On that note, it's time to go look for more fic to read!
I love me some Rosenbaum.

Michael Rosenbaum is hilarious.

A few minutes ago, I was watching the 4th episode of Season 2 of Smallville and listening to a commentary by Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Greg Beeman, and Michael Rosenbaum.

Michael Rosenbaum is hilarious. I love his interactions with Tom Welling. I love that they get along so well. I cracked up laughing during the commentary, and as soon as it was done I immediately checked to see if they did any other commentaries together.

Sadness.

They do one more commentary, for the episode, Rosetta, and that's it! Season 3 has Rosenbaum on two out of three commentaries -- no Tom Welling at all, grr -- and Season 4 has both actors MIA! Not cool, dude.

*sigh* The gag reel is awesome though. To me, gag reels MAKE the DVD. As far as extras go, the gags are what I look for first, specials second, commentaries third. What I really like is the inside look into the actors' interaction, that human spark that makes the whole behind the scenes workings go smoothly. Y'know, the stuff us viewers don't normally see.

The gag reel usually provides that, whether it's seeing how they react to flubbed lines or how they goof around with each other between sets. Practical jokes, inside jokes shared with us. Me gusta mucha.

Specials are the next best thing -- second only because they're not as funny as gags. Smallville is sadly lacking in what I look for in specials: actor info/stories. As for commentaries in general, some are good, but most aren't. If you're gonna have your directors/producers/etc. commenting, you have to have some actors as well, to balance it out. Producers usually get technical, when what I'm really interested in is funny stories between co-workers.

I really like the commentary for the Smallville episode, Red, which I just watched. I think Rosenbaum probably lights up any commentary he's in. PLUS, he mentioned the CLEX love! How awesome is that?

Please, PLEASE, let there be a gag reel for Season 5! And Michael and Tom interaction on the Commentaries! That's what I'm lookin' for.

In the end, I'll buy Smallville Season 5 whether or not they have a gag reel and michael/tom interaction. Season 5 was the best season ever--EVER!! (omg, Zod!Lex! how cool is that?) But if they were to rock my world with the gags and the boys, it would be some sweeeet icing on the cake.

New journal -- oh-so-many possibilities!

My name is not Anastasia. See, Anastasia is my Clark Kent. My alter ego, that is.

...absolutely no one is reading this, yet I persist in explaining things. Ah, but someday they'll come.
